How we like to work
Most people call a roofer on a bad day. There is a stain on the ceiling, a shingle in the yard or an insurance letter on the table. What they want is someone who picks up, comes out, and tells them what is going on in plain English. That is the job as we see it, and it is what our customers keep mentioning in their Google reviews.
Calls go to the office, a visit gets scheduled, and one of the team looks at the roof. Then you get a written estimate with the photos behind it. Most of the back-and-forth runs by text and email, and customers tell us they get photos of the finished work the same day. First-time homeowners get the process explained step by step, because nobody should have to learn roofing to buy a roof.

The people you will talk to
Customers know the team by first name. Inspections, estimates, crews and claim paperwork run through a small group:
- Wayne: inspections, estimates and crew coordination
- Pedro: inspections, estimates and crew
- Charles: service coordination and claim paperwork
- Jerry: estimates and crew scheduling
What past customers point to
- Honest calls. One couple was told to wait on a replacement, and came back when the roof really needed it. Another customer learned a much higher patch quote elsewhere was too high.
- Second chances for bad jobs. We have finished roofs left at bare underlayment and fixed flashing faults from earlier work.
- Older roofs. Steep, unusual roofs get a plan built around age, pitch and budget, and decking problems get explained before the crew moves on.
- Clean sites. Yards left neat, debris hauled away and a quiet worksite on request.
- Insurance paperwork. We document damage and meet adjusters on site, and we stayed patient while final payments came through.

What an estimate from us looks like
An estimate is the document you will compare against other roofers, so it has to stand up on a kitchen table. Ours lists the work line by line, with photos of each problem area. When old decking might need replacing, the estimate says how that will be handled before anyone starts tearing off. If a repair will do, the estimate says so, and if replacement is the honest answer, it explains why in terms you can check yourself.
- Tear-off and disposal, with the number of layers coming off
- Decking, and how any rotted sheathing will be priced
- Underlayment, flashing, drip edge and vents
- Gutters, skylights or other work done at the same time
- Who handles the permit, cleanup and the warranty paperwork

Why Alameda roofs get our full attention
Alameda is an island city with roughly 22 inches of rain a year, nearly all of it between October and April, and a housing stock older than most of the East Bay. Close to a third of the homes were built before 1940. That combination means leaks show up in winter, decking surprises show up at tear-off, and a good plan schedules the big work for the dry months. It is why we talk about timing as much as materials.
Where we work
Alameda is home. From Webster St we cover the East Bay and reach further around the Bay. See the service areas for your city, or read customer reviews first.
